More blogs that I read.
By SOCOM Sales • Oct 8th, 2007 • Category: Marketing TipsI have been working overtime to find additional blogs that interest me and actually have some content that’s worth reading. O.k. Everyones blog is worth reading, but not all of them are all that interesting to me. So I apologize if I hurt anyones feelings, it’s not that your blog sucks, it’s just that I find nothing useful in it. I find interesting blogs by reading my favorites and then seeing who they mention in their site. Chances are that if I like Blog A and they talk about Blog B, C and D then I will like them to.
I love my Google Reader page with all my RSS feeds. When I started, I only had about 10 sites that I checked regularly, but now I am up to about 80. Yes, that’s a lot, but I don’t read every story, I skim through the subjects and read the ones that catch my eye, this is why having a captivating subject is so important. I am not the only on that talks about this, there are many bloggers that mention this same subject as a way to only spend their time on the most relevant news.
If you have not seen any of these blogs, you should check them out.
Caroline Middlebrook quit her job and now has a blog where she writes about everything that interests her and her quest for a better life. She also has a post where she talks about some of her favorite blogs. One was the Blogging experiment which I mentioned in an earlier post. His most recent post is about finding alternatives to AdSense. Check out Caroline’s post on 11 pointless blogs.
The inspiration for this post came from Sean of the Warrior Blog and talks about giving link love to your favorite sites. There is always a new batch of information on this site and you should add this to your RSS reader! He has a post called 10 Reasons Why My Blog is Better than Your Blog. And I think I need to follow some of his rules.
YC has a marketing blog called Internet Marketing Mind. Where he has lots of great content and talks about How To Write Better and Get Published More.
Yes there is more.
Danawallert.com has a blog completely dedicated to blogging. Sounds silly, but it’s another that you should check out, since it has a steady stream of new posts that are great to read.
Blogin Diversity talks about content, traffic and improving your site. He also has a great post on getting an Online Savings Account.
Blogging web 2.0 is another great site that talks about ways to boost traffic to your site and has an interesting post on Multi Level Marketing at it’s Worst.
So that is a short list of my favorite blogs. If you have a site I might like, let me know. Leave a comment and I’ll check it out.
