I found this subject while trolling through the B2B Lead Generation Blog by Brian Carroll and I agree with his process so I am using it and adding some of my own comments.

I was invited to use an email tool called Xobni. The application is still in Beta so using the application is by invitation only (See invite below). It was recommended to me by an engineer and I figured if someone more geeky than me uses this tool, then it is worth taking a deeper look at.
Xobni Insight is an add-on for Microsoft Outlook that offers effortless email management and provides instant access to the most important information in your email.
After a quick install, you’ll see the new Xobni toolbar appear …

I come from a high-tech background and though that industry is enormous, finding qualified leads are still difficult. There are older industries out there that are much larger and the lead pools are just as hard to swim through. From telecommunications to construction and even networking equipment. If you are a sales professional in any of these areas you need a qualified list of growing companies that have some money to spend on your products.
This brings me to Sales Leads Inc. who has been specializing in providing businesses leads in …

It’s Q1 and if you’re in sales you are starting with a clean slate. Well unless you were that bad in 2007 then you need to make up for a bad Q4. For most of us though January is a great time of the year and when all the stress for the year comes back to a mild simmer. Sales executives take the first couple of weeks to put together the annual plans for the group and you should be trying to close out all the opportunities that slipped from …

Download files will be added to relevant posts. I’ve been working on this feature for a while and I seem to have the kinks worked out.
I have a hard drive filled with sales material I have collected over the years from Training Tools to White Papers, even a few that I have developed myself. The problem was getting them out securely to all of you. Now that is a reality, and I am starting to add them to existing posts (poke around to find them) and you will see them …

A few months back I wrote “Lead management done right” with the intent of explaining how companies should approach their CRM and the large quantity of leads and data in their database. The fact is that many companies do not have a structure for this and fail to maximize on their leads.
If sales is the life blood of a company then leads are the oxygen that is being carried. (o.k. maybe a bad analogy, but you get it.) If your sales people are not managing their leads correctly then fewer …
